Our online piano classes from India are ideal for children (6+), teenagers, and adults – whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced player. Young learners under 8 years old should be supported by a parent during lessons and home practice.

Encore Piano Academy focuses on Western classical piano training. Around 80% of our structured curriculum is based on classical repertoire and technique. The remaining 20% can include contemporary Western styles, tailored to each student’s interest.

We follow a curriculum aligned with internationally recognised exam boards such as Trinity College London and ABRSM, making us one of the few online piano academies in India offering exam-ready training. Exams are optional but the curriculum is designed to meet global standards.

Each student attends four one-on-one online piano classes per month, typically 60 minutes each. Lessons are conducted over Zoom and include performance coaching, technical work, theory, sight-reading, ear training, and guided practice planning.

To start your piano lessons online with us, you will need:

• A digital or acoustic piano (88 keys preferred)

• A laptop or tablet with a stable internet connection

• Zoom installed

• A quiet and well-lit space for classes

Yes. We offer a free 45 minute parent consultation session along with a 30 minute trial piano class to help assess your level and introduce you to our teaching style.

Our online piano classes are scheduled based on mutual availability and accommodate students across time zones. Early morning or late evening slots (Indian Standard Time) may incur higher fees.

Fees are based on:

• Student level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)

• Lesson timing (regular or premium hours)

• Location (India-based or international)

For students in India, fees are subject to 18% GST. International students are billed without GST if payments meet the required conditions. Please contact us for the exact fee applicable for your scenario.

Students enrolled in our online piano programme receive:

• Post-class written record

• Quarterly progress reports

One class every month can be rescheduled if you notify us at least 12 hours in advance.  Missed classes without sufficient notice are forfeited and cannot be refunded.

Yes, you can discontinue with one month’s prior notice.

Yes. Apart from core piano training, we offer elective courses such as:

• Music Appreciation

• Composition & Improvisation

• Music Arrangement

These electives enhance your musical development and are available once you’ve completed at least one core level.

Our teaching team includes certified piano instructors with qualifications from Trinity and ABRSM. All teachers are trained in our online delivery methods to ensure a consistent, engaging learning experience for students across India and abroad.

Yes. Parental presence is mandatory for children under 8. For older students, parents are welcome to observe without interrupting.
