Prerequisites
Student
- Should have completed 6yrs of age at the time of admission
- Parents of children 8yrs and below should attend all sessions with their child
- Should be able to focus for the duration of the class
- Should be comfortable communicating in English as it will be the only mode of communication during classes; younger kids should be able to read simple words and be familiar with all English alphabets and numbers
- Should be willing to practise the piano at home regularly
Instrument
- As this is a piano programme, it should ideally be done on an 88-key piano for best results. However, we understand buying a piano is a significant investment so we’ve made the below provisions. Please check with the Academy before finalising a purchase.
- Grades 1-3 can be done on a 61-key touch-sensitive keyboard
- Grades 4-8 can be done on an 88-key weighted digital piano
- Grades 9-10 should ideally be done on an acoustic piano
- There are also few essential accessories required
- Adjustable keyboard stand for keyboards and portable digital piano models
- Adjustable piano bench for the student
- Sustain pedal accessory for keyboards

- Computer/laptop with webcam & mic
- High-speed stable internet connection
- Access to a Google account
