At Encore Piano Academy, we are committed to delivering high-quality classical piano education through a structured and student-focused approach. If you are passionate about teaching and meet the following requirements, we would love to hear from you.

Technical Qualifications

• A Grade 8 certificate in Piano Performance from a recognised Western classical music board such as Trinity College London, ABRSM, LCME, or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.

• A strong foundation in music theory is essential. A Grade 5 Theory certificate is an added advantage.

• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.

Teaching Expectations

• Ability to commit 10 – 12 hours of teaching per week.

• Availability to teach during:

  • 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM IST

  • 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM IST 

  • 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM IST

• Prior teaching experience will be an advantage.

• Should have a pleasant and professional demeanour, and should be comfortable working with children aged 6 and above.

• Must be professional, conscientious and detail-oriented.

• Willingness to follow the Academy’s structured curriculum and teaching methodology.

• A minimum commitment of 1.5 to 2 years is required.

Hardware Requirements

To ensure a seamless online teaching experience, the following setup is necessary:

• A stable, high-speed broadband connection suitable for uninterrupted Zoom calls.

• A noise and distraction free teaching environment.

• A desktop computer or laptop with a good quality mic and camera (mobile devices or tablets are not sufficient).

• Access to an 88-key digital or acoustic piano.
